☕ Coffee Machine

Your Espresso Experience at AMARA

Each apartment has a DeLonghi Dedica EC 685.M espresso machine with professional milk frothing – your own compact barista station for real Italian-style espresso, cappuccino and latte.

Choose Your Filter (C2 • C3 • C4)

The portafilter handle (C1) comes with three inserts so you can prepare coffee just the way you like it:

  • C2 – single shot for one classic espresso
  • C3 – double shot for two cups or one stronger coffee
  • C4 – ESE pod filter (e.g., illy ESE pads; available at Supermercado Silvia, 15 m after the church on Calle Real)

Tip: don’t overfill and tamp gently – that’s how you get a smooth flow and lovely crema.

Getting Ready

  • Fill the water tank (back) with fresh drinking water.
  • Check power: plug in and set the small side switch to ON.
  • Press Power – lights blink ~30s while heating; steady lights = ready.

Make Your Espresso

  1. Insert your chosen filter (C2/C3/C4) into the portafilter.
  2. Add ground coffee (one level scoop per cup) or an ESE pod (for C4).
  3. Tamp gently (even, light pressure).
  4. Lock the portafilter in place (push in, turn to the right).
  5. Place cups under the spout and press 1 cup or 2 cups.

Pre-warm cups with hot water for hotter coffee and better crema.

Professional Milk Frothing

  1. Fill a small jug with cold milk (whole milk froths best).
  2. Turn the steam knob on the right to start steam.
  3. Tip the jug slightly and keep the frother tip just under the surface.
  4. Move the jug gently up/down until the milk doubles in volume and feels silky.
  5. Turn the steam knob to OFF and wipe the wand with a damp cloth.
🍳 Induction Hob

🍳 How to Use the Induction Hob

Our induction hob is easy to use and safe. Please read these short steps before cooking.

1. Switching On & Cooking

  1. Place a suitable pot or pan on the hob. This is essential – the hob will not start without cookware.
  2. Press the On/Off button to switch on the hob.
  3. Select the cooking zone (upper or lower ring) by pressing the corresponding Zone Selection button.
  4. Set the desired power level (1–9) with the Power buttons.
⚠️ Important: The induction hob only works with induction-compatible cookware. If you press the buttons without a pot or pan on the plate, nothing will happen – this is normal and a safety feature.

How to Use the Pellet Stove

Welcome to AMARA! This guide shows you how to enjoy cozy warmth, safely and easily.

At a glance

  • ON: Hold ON/OFF (~3s). Stove starts ignition automatically.
  • Set temperature: 1/2 (°C). The stove reduces when warm enough.
  • More/less heat: 6/5.
  • Pellets only: certified 6 mm wood pellets. Keep door closed.

Turning ON

  1. Check power first: make sure the plug is connected to the wall socket and the small rocker switch on the back of the stove is set to ON.
  2. Check pellets in the hopper (top). Add a small bag if low.
  3. Press and hold ON/OFF for 3 seconds.
  4. The stove passes through phases: Ignition → Preheating → Flame → Working (a few minutes).

Set Temperature & Power

  • Temperature: use 1/2.
  • Heating power: 6 (more), 5 (less).
Please keep air vents clear – this keeps heat steady and the glass cleaner.

Adding Pellets

  1. Open the top hopper lid.
  2. Pour in pellets slowly. Store them dry.
  3. The auger feeds automatically – no need to add into the burn pot directly.

Use only DIN/EN Plus pellets. Low-quality pellets cause soot and alarms.

Turning OFF

  1. Press and hold ON/OFF for 3 seconds.
  2. The fans cool down automatically; wait until the display goes dark.
